Mintec to release latest MS3D software which will please openpit mine operators

first_imgMintec says: “version 6.0 of MineSight’s flagship product, MS3D, is about to make a big difference to many of the world’s largest open-pit mine operators, FMI Grasberg, Newmont, BHP Billiton, Xstrata, Alcoa, and Barrick Gold among them.” It is one of four new releases this month set to greatly enhance MineSight’s Generalised Mine Planning (GMP) software. The others are Versions 3.0 of MineSight Schedule Optimiser and MineSight Haulage, plus Version 2.20 of MineSight Data Analyst.“People in the industry want something that’s integrated and that’s the area I believe where we are moving ahead in the field,” said Mark Gabbitus, Mintec’s regional Business Development Manager in Australasia. “We’re developing these advanced tools … but we’re developing them in an integrated solution, which not many people are doing.
